(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Two Pakistani Shia people, including religious scholar and leader Allama Aftab Haider Jafri, were martyred when unidentified men opened fire on their vehicle at a car parking in Saddar, Express News reported on Tuesday.
The second man was identified as Mirza Shahid Ali who works at a private bank.
Allama Aftab Haider Jafri was a leader of the Jafria Alliance. Mirza Shahid Ali Also embraced martyrdom. The bodies of martyrs had been shifted to Jinnah Hospital earlier. Now the bodies have been shifted to Fatimiyah Ghusal Khana near Nomayesh Chowrangi.
Allaama Aftab Hyder Jafri was a popular reciter of Ahl ul Bayt (AS) and had tirelessly served the nation for long years. He rendered valuable services to nation from the platform of Jaffaria Alliance Pakistan for some time. Currently he was serving in the newly formed Shia religion political entity Majlis-e-Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen ,as an office bearer in the Karachi Division of the organizational structure.
Allama Aftab Haider Jaffery was a ex-leader of Jafferia Alliance, Pakistan. Allama Aftab Jafari was working with MWM Karachi.
People protested against the killings at MA Jinnah road causing disturbance to the traffic.
Shia Ulema Council Pakistan and Jafria Alliance condemned today’s acts of violence targeted at the Shia community while Majlis-e-Wahdat ul Muslimeen announced three days of mourning.
